• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Edit: I also ordered 3 of those differential lube line retainers, I'll use the others eventually when I do mine, and whoever else's 4t65e I service.

Good stuff right there. I've seen quite a few where the tube has popped out. Makes a guy wonder, couldn't they have made that thing 1/4" longer?

We charge 50-60 for full syn aswell. We use valvoline dexos grade oil. Gotta make money off the oil change some how. Cost money to pay the worker, cost money to recylce oil filters and oil cost on a 55 gallon drum is over 1,000 bucks.

I get paid for my oil filters. I take them to scrap.

Topped off fluids, sanded some rust, filled with some bondo, sprayed some paint...not too shabby for a first try...forgot to take pics...

I did an oil change, fuel filter, cleaned the air filter, cleaned the throttle body and did a fuel system cleaner. Then filled it up and drove 450 miles.

Attempted to fix my ABS light again

Failed at it, I cut about 8 inches of wire off the stock wires and it was still all dry and crap. Next time I do this I'm going to cut the wire from the center of the subframe and hope to god its clean. Before I say f it. so currently this is with extra wire because I couldn't be bothered to shorten it.

Pulled the heads off my buick... going to take them apart this week, for some polishing. Then off to the machine shop for a vavle job. Figured while they were in the machine shop, would give me time to get my double roller timing chain in, and clean my engine bay a little

Listened to the brakes squeal and something squeak in the front right side of the car every time I hit a bump. Then I ordered new brakes for it. Oil change and brakes didn't happen this weekend so I'm shooting for Thursday. Got my moms van done this weekend though, along with the F100 and Northturd.

Ran to AutoZone picked up the parts for a girls truck got home realized there was no new slides with the caliper bracket went to go back abd my exhaust fell apart. I took it to an exhaust shop and got it welded up for $15 then fixed the brakes on the truck and fixed the high idle issue with a new tps

What part of your exhaust fell and I wish I had welding shops that cheap around me

When I blew a hole in my resonator the shop I went to only charged me $50 to cut it out and weld a 2.5" pipe in to replace it. I didn't think that was bad.
