Didn't have a way to get it home to even do that the tow would be too far and at that time I was short on cash, I just needed it out of the middle of the street. Trust me I considered it. Next to tackle this rad,

well in the past three weeks o swapped engines, fixed the rear defrost tab on the window, detailed the car, and now getting ready for the 500 mile oil change
 
I broke my key fob today so 97-03 guys, having any luck with the cheap ebay 14 bucks for 2 fobs type deals? Like Range ect.

i got one used for 12 once, and a new for 25. range is great when they are new. also picked up a new fob pad for like 5 bucks, they also work well if your button pad is shot.

what broke? theres a ground tab that breaks and needs to be soldered back in place near the battery. no function can be dirty buttons and board contacts.
 


The part the key ring goes on broke off after I dropped a box of tile on my thigh otherwise it works fine but its range is poop. So I was looking for new over just a new case.

yeah thats broke alright lol.

get a new one for sure over used, its worth it. the fob sales are crazy too, lots of 50 or more for like next to nothing. but who needs 50 fobs?

Yup very common on that style fob, one of my 02 fobs went that way also and it's the spare now.
The couple 99 style fobs I have sittin here left over are much stronger in that area.
 
This is the 2nd fob I'm on. When I bought the car the guy gave me a box of them that had like 5 of them in it and I lost it. Last one just stopped working out of the blue.

Polished keiths rims on his gt. I'll be doing the rack tomorrow. I swapped the rims and tires on the wifes bonneville and filled my car with gas.

when i had my car inspected at a shop before buying it. guys like this sc is shot. ok, tell the salesman that please lol

it needed a coupler. silly man.
