• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I change mine every 3k so I wouldn't have either. I would have pulled it under an abandoned gas station lmao

Yeah and drained the oil on the ground -_- some people

lol kidding. You can go over 3k on conventional if you do at least 50/50 city/highway. I run synthetic but do almost all city so it gets changed every 3k, well more like 2,700 in the end. But that's still hardly more than once a year.

My commute is usually 70% at 55 and rest is city plus dino oil is chesp.
Hey my dad poured 16 quarts of ATF in the ground at my old house because he didn't wanna pay to get rid of it which is really bad for the ground water probably.

pay to get rid of used oil? never heard of such a thing in my life.

my DPW used to take oil as well as most auto parts stores, and most garages will take it. if they dont burn it for heat, they sell it to be recycled.

You know you're a gearhead when...

Today I did smoky burnouts and curvy dirt road to my car.

Or he preferred to leave the oil spots and stains in AutoZone's parking lot as opposed to leaving them on his driveway

Me, I drove the GP for the first time all week. Felt good to have some torque for a change.

Same here. Took the iroc out and did some big smokey brake stands on some new pavement in this neighborhood that was still being built (it's just got roads, lights, and the surface is getting planed for the houses). When I get home I find several chunks of tire missing and in some spots you can see the belt. Looks like I need to do a few more big ones and throw the new set on that's sitting in the shed.

In the past few weeks I have gotten what I would consider good compliments on my GP. A few weeks ago I was at my buddy's shop while they had my cousin's turbo Civic on the dyno tuning it. I was talking about paint correction techniques with the shop owner's brother, whom I am also friends with. Anyway, I said something along the lines of I don't think my car looks bad for having 170k miles. He stopped me and said something like, "No way you car has that many miles. I thought it only had like 70 or 80k." LOL

Yesterday, the landlord stopped by to collect rent. We were BSing a minute and he asked it I had waxed the car. I was like, "No, I only washed it on Saturday.I do plan on waxing it soon though." He was like, "Wow, it looks really good right now."

I'm installing the new (to me) valve body, I'm to the point where just need to pull the bolts out and drop out the valve body. Lunch time. Then talk about finishing, then go outside and talk about finishing, then actually finish. It's kind of crazy, I have it tore down to this point in just over an hour.

Filled the crapiece up 444.8 miles on this tank and still had 3 gallons in the tank. 22.5 mpg with it. Took the comp g for a test drive and it ran terrible abd blew oil all over the engine bay

Put the armrest back in my moms car after I broke it then tore the hell out it trying to drill out the bolt that broke. 26 bucks for 2 plastic things and 2 bolts and some JB weld all over to hold the bolt because it doesn't fit. Hopefully I didn't JB weld it in the down position....

Dan thats not good, think you can still make it up? Could take the Crapiece or hijack the wifes bonnie lol.
