• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Today, found a few droplets of oil underneath it....
And there's been a few under it when its parked in the garage past few days as well.

:th_angry2:

Ordered the cheap Ebay OBDII Bluetooth dongle so I can get engine info (+kr) thru bluetooth on my Android phone, lol.

On a bad (Naughty Car) note, was a weird noise coming out of engine bay, well, when I pulled over I found that the Engine Idler Pulley had disappeared :(

Guess that's what I'll be doing tomorrow!

Let us know how you make out with the Android. You using Torque software?

take her out back behind the wood shed and give her a beating, leak oil on the floor how dare you! lol
I get to park it inside at the shop all day Sunday while I detail/polish, so I'll park it over some cardboard to find out where its coming from.
It's more in the center I think...
Forgot to add, today when it was noticed, the car had only been parked in this spot for not even 2 hours.
Kinda quick for just normal drip-age isn't it?

Now that it's getting cold you can leave them out in the weather, they hate that.
She has to sit outside all the time. She only gets luck to park inside when at the boyfriends house getting worked on.

Yes, that's the plan...

I went to the developers site and I read in the forum there that the software reads KR, so I figured its a worthy $20 investment until I can get the appropriate gauges :) The Torque app seems pretty good, you have any experience with it?

Lol, It's gonna be a while, probably 3-4 weeks till it arrives from CHINA tho, lmao... I just couldn't spring the extra $12 shipping to hurry it down to 10 days :D

Only problem I've read with the cheapo units is that the sampling rate is a little slow. If I like what it does maybe I'll invest in a better OBDII BT reader/interface with higher/quicker rate, they go for around $120...

Mine works great with the cheaper obd2 thing

Drove it out a ways into the sticks. Over a bunch of hills etc where it should have acted up. It took it like a champ. Making me wonder ... how the heck did I fix it.

Danielle..crawl under and look. That'll tell you where the actual leak is coming from..vs where the drip is falling off of.

It didn't work early on. I bought it as soon as it came out for the droid. Guys have it working now. You see dsmuts says his works. I bought a gauge before they got it working. I just haven't gotten back to trying it since. I just like to here about people's experiences before i try it again.

Almost got t-boned by some dummy in a big truck. I would have taken the hit right in my driver front door. If i would have had my window down i don't think i could have even got my hand inbetween my door and his bumper, he mouthed sorry to me so that makes everything all better :( I jacked up my car when i got home and realized that my ball joints are shot. My passenger side one i can move the wheel about an inch without anything else moving. Good thing i ordered the new lca's on monday they will be here tom.

Installed new wipers.
Filled it up with gas.
Crawled underneath it and realized how disgusting it is under there. wow...
I see a bath with some heavy duty cleaners in the cars near future.

Ok, took the top of the engine off for a LIM job, really pissed that my headers haven't arrived yet cause It's obviously easier with it all open like it is now. I also regret not getting the rockers and doing them now as well, lol. Going to port the blower tomorrow (maybe) if I feel adventurous. But will clean everything cause the LIM was obviously leaking for some time and it's all a mess.
