• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your car today? Vol 2.0

Nope, he didn't even slow down.

I'll see what I can do with a buffer and some Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, but I was eventually planning on either replacing or repainting the front bumper anyways... There's a lot of rock chips on the passenger side.

Smelled fuel under the hood of the Bonneville yesterday. Looks like a line is leaking near the rear engine bracket. Think the replacement hose may be due for a change since this is where it was repaired at some point. Glad I found it soon as it was running right down to the rear mani.

So I figured I just drive the GP and wait on the Bonne. Noticed a puddle forming near the pass. tire. Stuck my head under it and can see coolant drops coming off the motor mount bucket. Coolant elbows look dry and then I noticed some residue all over the backside of the WP pulley, and it feels wet under it. Guess I'll be throwing a pump on it this weekend. I just filled the system back up and shut the hood. Let it leak for now, lol... Would explain the gushing sound from the heater core I heard a few days back I guess. I think they just got jealous since I was working on 2 customers trucks the last 2 weeks and just got them done.

Def. need to get the pump done. Temp gauge was climbing fast today in traffic. As long as I had moving air I was good but stop and go was no good. I dumped a half gallon in the rad and another in the overflow tank after it cooled off at home.

Hopefully the stuff I just bought for the GP will make it happy again. Jealously is an ugly thing, lol...

Got the new water pump in. 2hrs total from popping the hood to shutting it down after a good bleed, not including the 15 min. break to run the puppy around outside and let him do his thing before bed. Tomorrow will be hopefully fixing the fuel leak on the Bonne and maybe throwing some goodies onto the GP.

Ordered balljoints, because when I went to pull the old knuckles off the dust boot came with it. Wiggled the balljoint and it sounded crunchy, and I'm guessing the other side isn't happy either...

I'm still halfway through teardown, I might post a vid of the crunchiness if that's something that people like seeing/hearing.

I finally registered for license plates yesterday after owning it for a month. I can finally drive it on the street. I’m so happy.
