Made a drawing of the resonator with rounded up lengths to get a glasspack installed.


Its backwards btw, the top of that pic is towards the rear of the car. Should have indicated

There fixed. Also the inlet to the resonator is just over 2 inches in diameter, like 2-1/8, outlet looks to be right at 2 inches

You just gave me an idea. The two 30" x 2.5" GPs thats been on my big GP for 15 years would make perfect resonators for one GT and one GTP. LOL. Probably hollow at this point, but they are "bullet" design (no seams) and wouldn't leak. Both my FWD rezs are probably perforated somewhere based on the spitty sound.

Yeah mine just started that, you can hear it when the Rpms change. Its like a dry spitting lol. I edited my post further, it seems the piping is 2 inch at the resonator.

I think it's about 45 for a set of rotors and 50 for a set of pads, new from Craigslist is fun too

Almost took out a turkey this morning damn things almost blend into the road. Then on my way to work some jackhole driving a wrecker in front of me turned on the rear facing working lights on his truck to "flash me" because I was cresting the hill we just went over.

I've been flashed more with these retros than when I was rocking my HIDs in stocks lol. I keep tossing the idea of putting a light bar where the front plate goes. Just cut a hole in the bumper and mount it to the crash bar bumper bar thing. Then leave enough room so I can put the filler plate in to hide it if i want.

Picked up my new (to me) snow tires and fat5 wheels from the tire shop; had them mounted and balanced.

I actually got bright lighted the other day in the 69GP (on halogen sealed beam lows). They did it enough times that I felt it necessary to return the favor briefly and they about had to stop. Its pretty bright with all guns blazing but lows are tame. How bright could they be on a 36 amp car? Pfft.

Bumper impact bar is UHSS (ultra high strength steel) it will devour most drill bits. Very hard metal. Use attachment tape if you go there.

I never got flashed in my 02 with retros except maybe once or twice in the time I was still adjusting them.

Its the damn hills here, people think I have my high beams on. I even have them aimed kinda low.

Oh yeah that's common sense, I encounter that up in the rural areas north of me. Very hilly and if you have a braincell or two you'd know that when a car is not level and pointing up towards you, you're gonna be in the bright light. Hid's are just brighter. I do encounter that, and I high beam them back

Where do you guys get your Dexron 6 from and what brand? Valvoline is $8.19 a quart locally. Not interested in using supertech.

Supertech is GM approved I'd use it, can't recall what valvoline runs up here. 8 bucks seems high tho
