Fixed my fog light that kept getting water in it. I sealed the little gasket and all the way around the housing seam but water kept getting in. So I removed the hole cover and put some air pressure in it, and heard air coming out through where the wires go into the bulb. The bulb itself was leaking. I removed the heatshrink and wires, put rtv inside and reassembled.

Finished the polish on my tail lights...without burning paint! Think I'm gettin' the hang of it.


Also installed passenger side door speaker and peel n seal. The stock speaker on this side had also turned to dust. Didn't realize the stockers had a separate tweeter, guess that's why I didn't realize they were so blown. Sounds so much better. I'll eventually do the rear deck 6x9's but they don't sound too bad. If anything I'd like something with a lot of bass so I can forget about putting a sub in.

put the steering wheel back on.

this is the air bag that was last on, the cover is goo, you can scrape the finish off it as seen by all the large scratches and missing texture.

this bag and wheel i got at a part out. so i had the old air bag still. so i cleaned that one of it gooey crap and used it instead.

bandook, yep those are just right! Nice.

Blue, only you would say "The bulb itself was leaking.". Way to be a mechanic, man!

Boobs, find another orifice and lite it up. With relay, of course. lol.

My GTP paint is just so beat up, I... whew looks like I'll be bustin out wool pad and super duty for a pass on the hood.

Heres what I'm dealing with there, and the least agressive approach ain't working...

This is the roof I did yesterday. Started earlier today and working in the garage but its tight.

Should last.. I use color coat all the time for years and haven't had any issues. I would just wipe the wheel down once a week or so.

Alignment is coming later this week when I get the lcas and brakes done. I'm gonna try to knock them out on my day off on Tuesday and get an alignment Wednesday.

Hopefully the motivation is there, I've had everything laying in the garage for a week or two now haha. After getting these tires on today though, I feel much more motivation to get this car done.
