Almost had a Grand Prix on Grand Prix accident earlier.

Some jackass in a white 97-03 pulled out from my right, right in front of me. To top it off he made the next immediate left. I didn't have to lock them up to avoid him, but I was definitely on the brakes hard and the butt was puckering.

Well, yesterday I was doing more work to the Stealth. Got LCA's and brakes and all that jazz removed to get ready to blast. In the process of removing the LCA the ratchet slipped off a bolt that was being a b!tch and smashed me in the face. Instant headache, lots of stars, and I split my lip open really good.

Once I got the blood to stop I went right back to work and finished getting the LCA off and moved to the other side.

Did you promptly throw the LCA across the yard? I usually do that after i hurt myself trying to take something off.

you should of seen it when i had to replace the axle in my gp this last spring...

Thing popped off the boot, so just that last end part was in the tranny, neighbors see most of a axle fly out from garage, then later on the last part came flying out..Hands were all beat up by time i got done

I wish i would of taped it.

Got sticky hands today. I'm pretty sure these speakers needed to go



So while I was at it I installed some peel-n-seal too


The speakers are Kenwood components, found a nice place for the tweeter


I'm gonna paint the silver bezel, just not sure yet what color to go with. Long term goal is to put an android head unit in so I can have Torque app at a touch. I probably will amp my speakers after that and I have a 15" Dayton sub that may as well go in the car too. I used it for my home theater but the wifey wasn't fond of the massive box it took because I tuned it to 20hz. I even painted it and everything, but she no likey :(

It went well. Pretty easy to install, but wears your finger tips out pressing it in all the grooves. I'm curious about actual sound improvement though. I took some db measurements with an android app. Was seeing average of 84db on the highway. I'm sure its not the most accurate test, but just for kicks we'll see what readings I get when I do all the doors.

I think the biggest difference was the floor, at least with road noise and all that.

Hey so Booba has anybody tried sound deadener applied to the backside of the fender splash shieds, that you know of? I had that thought.

I know the GTP is getting a couple new ignition coils today, BWD Ps. Got some Meguiar's black wax, cheap Simoniz clay and a pack of 3M 5725s too. For the GT's unslotted strut, got a burr bit for the Dremel so I can shadetree that. Now for the sweating and hopefully no slip ups stealthee style.

Back in like 96 I was trying to change over an alt pulley for my GFs 69 Camaro in an apartment parking lot with a monkey wrench... when she came outside with some sweet tea for me, I glanced her way and it wasn't the cool beverage it was the short shorts that made me slip. Put that wrench right across the bridge of my nose. Stars, clovers, moons lol. Then the "awwwww". Moral of that story: Don't pull on wrenches. Push. I have another example of where I didn't learn that good enough, from like 2004, with stitches. nah, I'll spare ya the pic.

Lowered the regal, waiting for it to drop fully before a thread. Slightly concerned that this was finished less than 2 hours ago and it's already this low in the front, might need to roll fenders?

I believe Saturn's came stock with some dynamat like stuff at the top of the strut towers for whatever reason.
