I wouldn't mind some of that weather here. We were supposed to get a crazy storm and ended up with some rain for 2 hours and 1 wind gust. one.

I wouldn't mind it if I didn't need to go out and finish this crap lol. Sure beats the 90+ it's been here for the last few weeks.

It's blazing out here and I don't want to do anything to the car. I did remove the underbelly splash shield. It came off while driving and it doesn't help that I'm very close to frame banging lol.

Weather has been hot here too, but I used whatever shade I could get while I was detailing the car. Prenoon I was under a tree, afternoon I moved to the other side of the house and used the shade from the house.

I think staying busy concentrating on the task at hand made me forget about the heat and humidity.

then here the tires i picked up for 50 bucks for the pair, spent another 50 to get em mounted and balanced.

You need to find a cheaper shop. I can get tires mounted and balanced for $10 each.

they want 25 a pop every where now. it used to be 12 bucks. idk where they get off charging so much these days.

$10 to M&B is cheap. The shop I use is one we use for work, and they do it for $15. Most shops around here are $25-30.

they charge so much because they are greedy. Health care and insurance are whats really driving the price up. thank you unions

Small independent shops are why you need to look for. It's friends shop I go to to get my tires done, but I don't think he charges people he doesn't know more than $10 for M&B either.

If I get 4 tires done, I'll usually hand him a $50 anyway.
