Put the rear struts in, rear trailing arms, rear stabilizer links, and driver side wheel bearing today. Car drove pretty good, i did the cv axle on driver side, driver side tie rod, and both front struts.

My rear seem to get really close to rubbing the tire, shouldnt the struts be up higher since they are new ones? I didnt notice any rubbing on the old ones. The back were napa quick strut, front were quick struts aswell.

Stock size tires only have like 1-2 fingers width between the tire and the bottom of the strut hat/spring seat.

It won't rub.

Also you need an alignment now.

Well, I took the Magnasteer rack back and they actually had the non Magnasteer rack on the shelf. Got it exchanged, and having someone that works there works to my advantage again, because he matched the website price and took the core charge off, even though I haven't returned my core yet.

Now I just have to decide when I want to change the rack.

just sold off my leather seats and unopened intense shift kit.

hope things go as smoothly when i sell the damn car off too.

discovered that the radiator in the honda is possibly going bad
which is nbd considering it costs $40 lol
but i discovered this today and work is closed tomorrow so i have to wait until monday to do a pressure test on it to see if it is indeed bad.


hopefully i can get it all fixed before i take it into the city on wednesday o_o

Worked on last Saturday's purchase my new 2001 silver GTP coupe.
I replaced the hard brake line for the passenger front. It was no fun.
It was rusted real bad and leaking inside the insulation where it goes around the exhaust.
In the process of bleeding I busted the drivers rear at the bend where it goes over the fuel filter.
The rest of the lines were not rusty except above the filter. Fixed that one too and bled them again.
Also found a bunch of other crap to add to the fix it list.
Broken tools, grease, rusted fittings, brake fluid everywhere no fun at all.

New rotors/calipers out in over the weekend for the front. I just need to get the back after I get my ac compressor replaced. It's making a horrible noise

Hooked my remote wire back up on my subs. I pushed my system too far and broke it when I was doing the rear struts. It be bumping again.

removed the 3 old vent shades and install the new set. looks so much nicer, these are darker looking too.

the old ones were so brittle, they cracked like mad when i took them off. cutting the old double side tape off was also fun.

Replaced the rf hub on the impala due to it making noise. The lf hub has play but no noise...yet. I'll do that side when I replace the leaking CV boot.

Ordered a new cv boot for the impala. Man changing boots is something so rarely done. Inners are cake, outers are easy if you're doing the inner too. Why not, it's like $45 cheaper and will probably last longer than an aftermarket or reman. I'll use advance's coupon code to get the wheel bearing for the impala, not going to buy these things online due to warranty concerns. I used a moog hub today, we'll see how long it lasts. It was $110 with tax with the coupon.

Also need to do the oil pan on our dodge caravan, those are simple. Advance will be where I get those parts from. Believe it or not, it is cheaper at advance over Rock auto, before shipping. After shipping, advance auto is a ton cheaper for the same parts.

MAF TUNE!

And raced a newer civic si that was all riced out. Like slammed with the wheels sticking out looking stupid. I spun til 45 but by 75 had like a bus and a half on him.

Also kinda raced a brand new tahoe. Guy hit it at a light and looked at me like i'm the slow one. He had a different look when i passed him by 50 like he was standing still. That thing sounded good though.

Finished up the spring polish/sealant N worked on my brothers 2004 Forester XT.
Really like Menzerna SF4500 after M205 and Wolfgang 3.0 sealant is good stuff

Bought it line wrench so I can, hopefully, change the rack next weekend. Also bought some Silverstar fog bulbs for it.

its like 1/8 of a inch or its on the tire it looks like. I'm getting it aligned tomorrow.

Need some pics. Did you let WG sit for 45 mins before removing it?
