Well,I got the lower control arms changed, as well as the front sway bar links, and put the rear sway bar links in. I also learned lesson. Verify RPO codes or look closer before ordering parts. I looked and could have sworn I saw a wire coming from the rack before I ordered my replacement, so I ordered a Magnasteer rack. I dropped the rear of the subframe while doing everything else only to find out I do not have Magnasteer.

I need to take the rack back to Advance and probably have to order the replacement, which ironically is more expensive than a Magnasteer rack. Go figure.

I also fixed a rear brake noise. Apparently in my rush to get everything reassembled in the rain and fast approaching dark last night I managed to knock the top anti rattle clip loose and somewhat smashed it upon reinstall of the caliper. Reshaped it and fixed it so that is all good.

LKQ had a half off sale and I snagged these 2005 Bonneville 18" GXP rims with decent tires for $120.

you should have seen it. right after 9-11 2001 we werer going to see my grand parents who lived in FL. My dad found a big nail on the plane and went to hand it to the fight attendent for safe keeping and she shear look of panic that was on her face was priceless all he was doing was tying to get her attention and she wasnt doing her job lol

The Buford won't know how to act with all four! JK that is a valid appearance improver for yer ride SD. I still just have one and its all road rashy

So I put the 2 99s on level ground next to each other after work and was lookin real hard at how the right rear sits on the GT. Its actually lookin cleanest right now. The battery had run down on it so I zapped up the old GTP bat and swaperoo'ed then putted around the lot awhile in it. 21 month old gas still don't reek out the tailpipes lol. Theres about 30K less miles on the GT... its coming home soon so I can work on them both side by side until I have happy twins.

The GT is jammed full of 02 parts but I need a fender and lights to fix the front wreckage. It was pushed over a curb in that fight and thats why a couple wheels are crooked. Just trying to decide whether to drive it the 20 miles home or haul it since they still don't sit quite right. That right rear is toed in too much, I was comparing the two cars but the RR is off on the GTP also of course so it all looks like crazy wrong FWD BS to my eye. Feels like it would probably make the trip home fine at low speeds. I miss ol Betty.

nice pair you got there.


my car came with 3 vent shades, missing a rear one, now the drivers door one cracked, then the car wash killed it good. i cant have a 4 to 6 inch chunk missing. its real trashy looking.

so now i get to have all 4 new.

Hope the car wash didn't rub it all over the car. Local Toyota dealer has a drive thru wash and one time it picked up a roll of steel cable out of the back of a pickup. The next vehicle got flogged bad.

I have a friend thats been running around with a busted off bug shield on their Yukon. I tried to get em one but they said thats how they identify theirs in a parking lot lol. I thought you had one missing or something all this time. It will be cool to have 4 freshys on it, much better.

I made sure to leave the phone in it's bondo dusty cover and wait for a cloud to take that pic... so they look like a nice pair ha. I was too lazy to prime the carb on Grape so grampaw GP isn't in that family portrait.

I saw the opp for ball breakage there but knew somebody else would mop that up fer me...

Where is Boobs anyway, speaking of those. The 420 LED GMPPs musta laid him out today. That reminds me...

Today was kinda gloomy until somebody in the shop said boobs. Meaning lady 'uns. Always helps the time go by once ya get to thinkin bout those.
