• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

ran a best of [email protected] w/ 2.07

this was with engined heat soaked, street tires, 93 octane and my 235 lb ass drving. Temp was around 70*, humity was high enough for the mosquitoes to be a problem.

I'm sure I could have ran a 13.8 or 13.9 @100 that day if I would have been able to cool the engine down, work on my launch, mess with tire pressure, etc.

Is this a decent time for my mods?

cool, thats what I was thinking. I figure with some cooler weather, traction, race gas and engine cool down I could shave a good 4-5 tenths off that time.

ah yes, that can be tough. I'm converting to e85 sometime soon here so I'm not gonna get to hung up on it. I'm hoping for low 13's after I make the switch but we'll see.

6 psi @ 3000 rpm
7 @ 4000
8 @ 5000
9 @ 6000

I have a 3" exhaust and no cat either BTW, not listed in my mods for some reason.

Hmmm...

Lots of increase.

Have you changed your valve springs?

You may have valve float and that may be whats slowing you down.

never changed valve springs, pretty sure I'm not getting float.

What should I be running? Like I said, the car has more left in it.

PLEASE!!! IC, E85 and get some slicks for this car I along with everyone else on here NEED to see how fast a car can be setup properly WITHOUT heads, cam and everything else that has to do with taking anything below the LIM apart.

I firmly think you can get wayyy into the 13s maybe better on stock heads and cam. (no turbo either since technically I guess its bolton!)

Everyone just says ehh throw a cam in it and go buy some heads. Me personally Id love to see every aspect pushed until heads and a CAM are absolutly NEEDED!

Shift points?

Rockers take advantage of running it higher in the RPM range...and the stockers might be holding you back...I'd never run anything more than 1.8 rockers on stock springs and would never shift over 6K on stockers.

Go get behind some 7 second car and root it and give it hell. a 1.90 60 vs. your 2.07 would net you very close to a 13.8 if not faster.
