Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

went to the track on friday

wow, lots of replies. Like I said guys the car has more left in it. It was completely heat soaked first of all, it was 70* and muggy out and I still hadn't perfected my launch.

I honestly feel I could have gotten a 13.8 out of it had I did some cool down and launch perfecting. Even better in some cooler weather.

I was leaving out of the hole just flooring it and flashing the converter with 11.5 a/f ratio and 14* of timing. It was hooking and going with 2.1 60's. I felt I could do better so I jacked up the timing to 20* and spun when I put it to the floor. So, I brought it back down to 16* put the throttle half way then around 10mph I put it to the floor. Thats how I got my 2.07. I feel if I put the timing back to 20* and try the same method I'll be able to do even better........can't just floor it haha.

My shift points are 6000rpm at the 1-2 and 5900rpm at the 2-3, I didn't have a chance to play with them but I think they are pretty spot on. Can't really go over 6K with the stock springs.

BTW, I live in MI and milan is 600' above sea level.

This car is getting E85 and a smaller pulley so this is just a baseline.

Ever thought of doing the phenolic IC thats being sold on here too their only like 450 or something then just have to add a pump and FMHIC. E85 and smaller pulley will def make this interesting!:)

honestly I think these times are pretty average guys. But anyway I'm in the process of buying a home so ic, cam etc is out of the question for now. That and another kid on the way.

I'll probably port the blower, block off the coolant passages, N* and do the e85 but that will be the extent for this year. Maybe I'll add an IC to the equation eventually, it would be cool to run 12's with the stock cam.

Try find some sticky cheap tires next time you go to the track too maybe even blizzacks ive heard good results from them at the track if you can find a set that are almost wore out. I live in ND so thats actually pretty easy to do here. Soft sticky and cheap. :D

i have a couple of 14.1 runs with pretty much the same mods same pulley, minus the rockers and the LS6 maf, 2.1 60' on RS-A, i was thinking of rockers really hard for a while and everywhere i looked recommended 105 springs for 1.9s and 1.95s.

to be honest the LS6 maf doesn't do squat in terms of power with my combo. I bought it so I can run my wet kit without needing a TB spacer.

I was unimpressed with the rockers BTW, didn't notice much a gain at all.

mods in sig.....13.2 @ 104 full weight, heavy wheels and street tires. had a 3.3 on at the time as well. E85 you will love it.

Shift points?

Rockers take advantage of running it higher in the RPM range...and the stockers might be holding you back...I'd never run anything more than 1.8 rockers on stock springs and would never shift over 6K on stockers.

Go get behind some 7 second car and root it and give it hell. a 1.90 60 vs. your 2.07 would net you very close to a 13.8 if not faster.

Out of curiosity what shift points would you recommend with 1.9's and ls6 springs. It's at 6k now but I feel like I could squeeze a bit more out of it.
