Weight Loss or Weight Gain Thread "2012"

I'm doing spinning on Tuesdays. It's tough, it's got nothing on that 100i though. Ryan.. I did the same thing as you did when I first got on that evil bish of a machine. Made it my goal to hit 1000 calories an hour plus 5 min cooldown and have reasonable resistance on it. At my best I was intervalling at 10-14 with about 104-110 strides per min.

This weekend I started the Insanity workout videos. Did the fitness test and first one. Wow. Added in their meal plan to get into it fully. So far it feels like it's working well for the food side. The exercise, I'll hit another video tonight. I still feel Saturday's vid in my lower legs. It really has you doing stuff that will work every part of your body.
 


Rode the bike to the YMCA. 5.1 miles round trip. Did the Precore 100i for 10 minutes on intervals 1-4. Did alot of upper body weight today. All and all I feel like like all of my body parts are made of noodles. I'm pooped! Time for a shower and off to work I go!
 
Precore 100i: AKA The Death Machine, AKA The Calorie Killer... Shaved off 454 calories in 35 minutes. Resistance intervals 4-6. I was only able to do 2 weight machines after the workout that thing gave me. I kept thinking Bill Bostick says to try 30 with 5 min cool down, Bill Bostick says to try 30 with 5 min cool down, Bill Bostick says to try 30 with 5 min cool down, I can do this....

I eat 4-6k calories a day. Doesn't work for me.

I wasn't hunched? If anything my body is bent more towards the camera, just my head is bent a bit forward

And yeah i should work them more, just like lats more lol :p

Gents.. Bio either took a pic walking by a 100i or that kid got his butt onto one last night.

you were ranting and raving about how it's a monster and one could never do it.

been working out for a week, challenge completed. i still feel less homosexual running on the treadmill.
 
You clearly haven't been drinking for a while sir. It's a real workout. Treadmill is for the girls.

when i'm in a weight loss competition any drink is just empty calories. that's my main vice that i cut down on to help me along. that and eating anything delicious.
 
Now, since you didn't make it out as tough. Hop back on and rip off 1000 calories in the hour plus cooldown. I know it's possible and you seem like you can do it.
 


maybe next week when i'm fresh. i'm taking today off and i'll be back tomorrow. or maybe i'll try it tomorrow...

my average heart rate from the few times i checked it was 160...lol
 
worked my way up to 10 in the first 10 minutes, didn't know what to expect...stayed at 10 for the 20-10 part, then went back down incrementally from there.

so i could have went harder had i known it wasnt going to be horrific.
