• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Washington State

zzperformance has alot of stuff like that some people have had issue with customer support but I have not...whats wrong with yours?

Replied to your PM.

Its the Solenoid. I am getting a code p0243 and I dont think I am making full boost as under WOT the boost gauge on my Info Center is only going to half full if that..

Hey man, unplug the vacuum line on the bottom of the boost bypass valve going to the solenoid. If you get full boost it's likely the solenoid that's bad.

Ok. So did as you asked (getting that tube off was a royal pain in the ass) and then took it for a drive. WOW!!!! It feels like a whole new car. Info Center is giving me full boost on gauge. So where do i pick up one of these solenoids?

Dealer? Online?

Thanks again for all your help guys.

you could probably pick one up at your local picknpull in Tacoma. Should be a few supercharged 3800's there. All it takes is a 10mm nut to take off and unplug it from the connector and vacuum lines. I don't even run mine on my race car. It's mostly so the PCM can pull boost for traction control purposes but if you don't have a tuner to turn the code off it'll set a check engine light

If any of you WA folks runs across a stock rear lower seat let me know (dark grey). I need one for my GP, right now it has a Regal seat in it, LOL

Do you know if he would be interested in making some money and doing another tune later in the year I need one bad!

Nope it is a green gtp...has a nice TA and G8...I can ask him if he would be willing to tune yours...what type of tune u needing?

Just an easy tune like what the zzp tune is... I have a 98 gtp so probably pretty similar to his depending on his mods

Another Spokane guy here... oldie, but a goodie: 96 SE with only 85 k orriginal miles... Looking for performance mods.
