Washer Fluid Not Pumping After Pump Replacement (PHOTO UPLOADED)

can u rewire the pump to a push button switch mounted somewhere by your steering column? and then whem you press it only the pump would turn on the you would have to turn the factory switch to make the wipers turn on, correct?
Honstly im cheap and i just want it to spray, dont care how lol

that could be done real easy like. you just need to cut the wires at the plug, (leave 4 or 5 inches of wire on the plug end) and run the wires from the plugs pig tail to power and a a switch, do put a fuse on the power line.

That's what I'm probably going to do. Just not worth the time/effort to try to find where the short is, or if the adapter is bad. I just have to make sure the pumps I have are good. I'd be kicking myself if I found out the new pump I bought was bad as well.

if you take the pump out and run a neg and pos wire off your battery to the pump, it will buzz/hum when power is added.
