Wanting tints

I have 35 on the front and 20 rear on my focus and really liked it. I think if it was darker I wouldn't like it.
 


i had the 15, and ever since i got it on the car i regreted not going darker lol. i dont drive my car as a dd, i have a work vehicle.....which has 15 on it lol
 
funny, my old car, 3k fogs, projectors, and flowmaster 40 exhaust i got pulled over prob about 5 times in 3 years just for the tint, but i got a couple tint tickets that got me outta speeding tickets. now with this car with darker tint and mostly stock, i dont even get looked at twice lol with the 5 i havent gotten pulled over......yet lol
 
most of the time they just let me go cause i have a clean record, but the times i got tint tickets it got me out of some hefty fines and points

ive been stopped 2 times for 35 up front so far. the rears you can paint black if you wanted to. the fronts are to remain stock and clear here in NJ, the brow tint is also illegal here as well. i got a 5% brow, but kept it at the tint line in the glass.

the only sticker or anything on the front windshield is the inspection sticker, thats it.

you can still see the factory tint blurr at the bottom of the tint.

i guess they dont make you prove its removed here. first time i got pulled over for it was by a local cop Hackensack here. prick just wrote the ticket. so i just paid the ticket. cost $60 iirc. no court required. left the tint on.

second time was a Paramus cop, could have got me for speeding really, but he never brought it up. this was easter day too. said he was doing equipment violations today and i have tint on all four windows. ( reality is its on all 8 windows)

asked if my lic was good, basically told him yes its good, im handing it over to cops at inspections stops every other week these days. i have a cdl lic. so he never runs my lic or handed out a written warning, didn't even tell me to take the tint off. gave me a have a nice day and left.

funny part is, every time i get pulled over i know its gonna happen as im passing the cop on the side of the highway, i pass, he pulls out after i pass. and i called it the last 5 times, im like, here we go, im getting pulled over here, and bam, it happens lol the gut never fails you.
 
They made you remove the tint?? Cops just write me a 46 dollar ticket and say I'm sure I'll see you again, and he was right, he pulled me over fit tha same thing a month later haha
 
no, never even said to remove it, nor was it a fix it ticket. just a ticket.

the only real rule here in NJ is the front doors and windshield are to remain factory. the back windows can be as dark as you want.

we got cars around here driving around blacked out. a lot of the factory tint out now even on the fronts is darker looking then 35% like i have up front. im pretty sure it just comes down to if the cops having a slow day and he feels like handing out tickets.
