VSC 2002 Cam?



So, it's an XP with a different name?

Yeah...sounds like there is other things going on...

supporting mods? got a live feed scan of it?

Who tuned it?
 
It's more like a VS with higher exhaust lift. I will get a live feed scan asap.

What issues are you having.. it would help better to understand why you think a cam could ever cause a "tuning problem" more so than seeing what a scan looks like.
 
I haven't been tuning it myself. The real backstory is that I own a powrtuner, yet know nothing about tuning. I bought a canned tune from one of the popular pcm vendors recently in order to give myself a good baseline from which to learn. The car did not run as strong with the new pcm in it (took forever to go from 1700-4500 rpm and saw higher knock). I have been running my original, close to stock pcm since then and haven't had time to swap the aftermarket computer back in to scan it again.

It wouldnt be worth doing an "in car" tune most likely.. If you have a DHP just set the injector table so your car runs right and drive it.
