Im trying to upload my just done photos but the manage attachments thing will just not let me add the photos :(

Fairly happy with the results - needs some more polishing. Arms got tired half way through haha
 
Anyone from NY ever get pulled over for blacked out tail lights?

I would assume it wouldn't be a huge deal since 04-08 have a 3rd brake light and reverse lights by the spoilers?

Any comments?
 
you can get pulled over...and ticketed, but only if you live around lazy cops with nothing to do but be dicks...you will probably be fine
 


VHT works.. if you know what you're doing.. you can get good results from VHT.

Those were all 1-1.5 coats with 2 coats of clear. You can see their brake lights perfectly.

So I went and bought all the stuff to tint my tails and heads. Chose to start with my brake light for practice.
My brother in law, who claims to have done this alot and been paid to, proceeds to take over without asking and starts doing it. I let him do it because well I assumed he was good at this and I didn't know what to do.

He leaves for San Antonio with instructions to put on a clear coat then polish after letting it dry for an hour. I wait for an hour, go outside and there's cracks in the tint all over the brake light. It looks like complete utter f*cking sh*t. I could have easily done a better job. Seriously the guy just threw on several layers all at once im guessing because that's the only reason I can think of that it looks this bad. Now I have to go spend MORE money to fix this sh*t. DAMNATION.

Honestly I have No problem with people using VHT but Im removing it ALL the time.. Everyone want shiny & for the price its easy.. I ship tinted ones to you & you ship me yours back..
