• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Very Cheap CAI option

Picture041-1.jpg

this is mine, cost about $40 with filter

i never realized how similar parkers intake was compared to the 22* 4" elbow from pepboys

His complete intake went much further.

i cut it since SRI > FWI

that and FWI doesnt work with the I/C.

The way it is now it hardly fits.

Thanks yea it does look cheap i know but not really planning for any autoshows anytime soon so i think im ok. Dont think i paid anymore than 40 either seeing as all that dryer stuff as in the garage

I would have just bolted that filter to the throttle body and zip tied the IAT sensor close to the filter and been done.

Well I dont want to trust just having the IAT ziptied and it was you who said, that in the lower to no mod other than intake applications it is better to get the cold air than to get the warm air by doing a straight off the TB set-up

this intake set me back around $200.... thanks parker.

Not the best picture of it, but i'm lazy.

Hey Matt you got subs i got that same thing thats in the top left hand corner of your pick dont know what it is got a shop to install mine. Had a vid of them too but the camera i had makes video in a retarded format and takes forever to get on youtube

When your stock sure...but honestly...once you start modding an open cone is the best thing you can do.

Also, the restriction is in the corregated tubing, not the airbox you removed.

He left the most restrictive part on there, the ****ty tubing off of the TB.

I made an open cone with a metal 45 degree pipe from spectre and a k&n 9"

Like ive been telling people the pvc goes straight through all those ridges so there is a straight shot through AIR IS NOT AFFECTED BY RIDGES THE PVC IS IN THE RUBBER HOSE ALL THE WAY TO RIGHT BEFORE THE IAT
