i used a penny and copper rtv to seal it.personally I would try and re seal the EGR that you have blocked off, but I am not sure what else to tell you.......you use the 6 cent method of sealing off the egr?
well ill try that tomorrow. i really hope this is whats wrong with it.I would just pull it out of the egr clean it up, and re seal it if you can. Or at the very minimum go over it again and put a full layer over the top of what you have already. If it wasnt cured all the way when you started it up, you could possibly have broken the seal on this??? IDK.....
it will not hurt anything.......if anything you might clean something in there by accident.......LOL.......it is designed to go in there, so dont worry about it harming anything.alright i got to buy some card cleaner now i used it all on my snowmobile last winter that pos. so i can just spray it in the lines and it will be fine?
alright thanksJust spray a cupple squirts along oll of the vacuum areas. If there is a leak you should hear the engine idle higher when you hit the vacuum leak.
glad to hear it........now you dont have to threaten to take off the headers anymore...........how does the car run now with headers compared to before them?well good news got the car running it was the egr leaking.
