• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Vacation to Canada

I updated my picture on the first page to represent moreso what one of our cars should look like under the hood instead of missing an engine mount and insane wire routing.

unbolt the bracket for the filter, bend it so you can spin the filter instead of the fitting if the fitting is seized on the line. Undo the quick disconnect side first.

Short ram like that.

I do 75 MPH because thats the fastest I can go without the cops bugging me around here.

You get the best fuel efficiency at 80 km/h or 50 mph.... But have fun doing that on a long trip and being passed like you're an idiot.

my tube is going to be shorter then this one. ill find the pick of the other guy on here that showed me the sight that had it. I basically bought the same setup he had cause I really liked it. mines going to be a little cleaner though

I ordered the same filter and rubber hose that he has. i think im going to put that little sensor on the back side so you can't see it so it is very clean. does that make sense. what do you think of that look......I wish my engine bay was that clean though. I also wish I had a shinny supercharger strapped to the top

XD, you should be fine, the only problem I can see you having is trying to get the IAT wire to reach back there, as it's not a very long wire to begin with. But I would kill to have my fuel rails like his, and that fuse box cover too

ooooooooooooooo I know it looks so good. I think ill do it either way just so that it is just that much cleaner

Clean engine bays are for people who dont spend enough time driving their car :D

That should be fine. I take it you're going with a bigger filter then? Can't really see the whole length of it.

Ya i think it is going to be a bigger filter I think I'm ok with that though. give me a min Ill post a link to specs.

I got my pipe in. now I am just waiting on the filter.

how hard is it to take that throttle off to paint it black? I dont like the way it looks right now at all and I thought a nice glossy black might be nice. kinda like in the pic above

I know but when I replaced the upper plantum I replaced that gasket and it came in a kit of all of the gaskets. do you think that I could just buy that one

yeah. not sure if your parts store can get it or if you'd have to go to the dealer. Check both out. Personally GM gaskets are worth the small extra cost.
