• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Vacation to Canada

If you really need a picture with the belt on and the wires fixed lemme know. But one coil is zip tied down since the coil bracket is broken and now i've gotta try to find another one...

I realize that not gettting rid of that bumpy tubing is stupid but is it better to put that sensor closer to the filter like this?

No, the sensor should be as close to the TB as possible.

Not that it really makes a difference.

Oh and mr tube, I have the square poly upper mounts but now the bushing on the other side is shot...

Because that more accurately represents your intake air temps.

Not that the table does anything but pull either one or two degrees of timing if the IAT is too high.

so i dont need to do anything special with that sensor other then just stick it in right? I read that build your own FWI and it didnt say much about it

I figured it really wasn't that necessary. I'm really exited to do this. I ordered a AEM oiless filter. I didn't want to deal with plugging up my MAF

Matt, you got it backwards. If you give a crap about IAT's then you want it as far away from the engine as possible so it senses the coldest temps.

Yeah, I quite literally changed my intake yesterday, and my IAT Sensor is sitting about 2 inches away from my TB, didnt have to extend the wires any, works fine.
