Va. Peeps

I'm hoping to put something together in May. NAIOA meets in Maryland sometimes, so I want to do something in VA. There's a Glory Days in Culpeper with a large parking lot, so we could do it there. And of course there's Saturday nights at the Manassas Burger King. I go there about once a month.
 


Chris I work nearby in Springfield. Would you happen to have a tuner? I've been trying to signup at ClubGP for over a week now and no luck it says wait up for 3 days to get an email but nothing.

I signed up on clubgp a long time ago, like 5 years ago. I forgot my PW and now I'm trying to sign up there again and getting the same crap. Somebody is dropping the ball over there.
 


Radford here (Virginia Tech area) as well. But I travel back and forth to Va Beach, nORFOLK, Williamsburg area alot.
 
ClubGP feels to "cliquey." If you joined years ago and have posted a lot, you're in good. If you new and ask a question that could be answered with a search, albeit one that was answered several years ago, they'll still slam you. I like GPForums since there's fewer people here that are a bit more dedicated.

And now I'll wipe the brown $h1t off my nose. :D
 


I had wanted to do something, but I've been busy as well with my children. We need to just pick a day. NAIOA likes to meet in Maryland, so I've wanted to do something in Virginia. The Glory Days in Culpeper has a nice large lot that I've never seen very full.

Yeah Glory Days would be cool. If anyone felt a little more adventurous we could go to Mt. Run Lake and have a cook-out. Everyone could bring something and its a park so you could bring your wife and kids. They have swings, and a nice play area, you can feed the ducks, etc. Its right off of Rt. 29. I'm more than willing to help plan it if people are willing to come.
 


I'm booked this Saturday. I'm think maybe the 11th or 18th of July for Glory Days. I try to go to BK on Saturdays occasionally, but it always depends what else occurs during the day.
