v 8 caddy motors

i have another question.i was at the wrecking yard today and i found a caddy fwd with a v8 engine in it(holy****) now my head is spinning.i gotta get one.but will it bolt up to my tranny or is it a big ass project to stuff that sucka under the hood.
also there is a northstar v8 rwd (such a nice looking enine)at the wrecker,do you guys know what they are worth and how sought after are they?i can buy either for $200,tranny$200 and the ecm and crap come with the engine
 


Take a look at the sheer number of undented Caddy's in the yard and ask yourself, if they have the 4T80 or nearly bulletproof transmission that never suffers problems. Why are so many in the yard undented.

Deathstar motors are good for one thing. Larger TB's for 3800's. :th_thumbsup-wink:
 


north-stars are goofy depends on what yr some were OK and some had starter inside intake so u have 2 spend $500 for new gaskets every time starter F's up and if u go on long trips u will need more starters more gaskets so gets expensive.
 
olds aurora were same but they also had trans issues and salt eats engine cradle out so motor rolls a bit if you've saw a cavalier do it imagine a v8 doing that.... scary thought.

bulletproof 3800 but tranny needs help north-star engine needs help trannys normal and 3100 they leak like a ***** but for some reason they still run must be hopes and dreams.lol
