Upping line pressures with dhp

I'm going to up the line pressures with my dhp tuner and didn't want to go overboard. Is 10% a noticable difference?

Yeah, it's about a .1 increase... :th_nanana:

Just messing. I do know you shouldn't go overboard. I'm still looking for a good pressure too.

Waiting here also.

With performance shift mode on for 2nd and 3rd I have mine set to full line pressure anywhere above ft/lb step 22 then blended from 96 to 1 between ft/lb step 0 to 21. Then I have 4th set to 96 from ft/lb step 11 up because 4th is puny and will burn out easily. It is my understanding that the max shift pressure setting shouldn't be adjusted as it is just the number that correlates force motor position for the pressure tables. 96 doesn't actually mean 96 psi it just means thats the pcs is full closed and the trans is at full line pressure when it gets to 96 in a pressure table. Shift time I have set to minimum across the board with performance shift on and mostly stock otherwise.

Go into the shift time tables and turn them down. Its all in preference but I wouldn't want to run perf. On all the time one of the great things about having the performance shift button with serperate tables for most of the trans settings is being able to have stockish tables on normal shift and really aggressive tables on performance shift. Another setting I have after scorching a set of raybestos 4th clutches is 4th up shift at 255mph over 90% tps so it never goes into 4th at WOT. It will set solid on the rev limiter in 3rd no matter what until you let off. I also have high mph values on the manual 1 and 2 detents to get the car back down into 1st or 2nd at higher rpm for roll racing.

Mine doesn't have a perf shift button though :( How low should I set the shift times? I'm sure it shouldn't be on 0 right?

you could always add one? IIRC you just ground the perf shift wire from the pcm. when i built the harness for my swap i ran a jumper from the perf shift pin on the pcm to the fire wall. I will eventually finish running it inside the car and add the perf shift option.

It automatically goes into perf shift at wot. I just changed the tables on the reg shift pressures to the perf shift pressures.
