• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Upcoming FL Grand Prix Meet

Irish...ended up being cv axles I was also getting a annoying ass rattle for some time and thought it could be the brakes since they needed to be changed. Figures warranty doesn't cover cv axles so I just gave it and bought parts from advance and had dealership change them hopefully ill have car back tomorrow wouldn't have the time to change the axles myself

so its at the shop now? let me know if it fixes it then.

20$ at the show. for us because i talked to the guy last month and we all have a spot together.

FYI Clay bar, Mothers Chrome Polish, Armor All Tire Shine, and if your car is black, use the Turtle Wax Back to Black kit ;)

lets get those rides shining!

^ yea I'll pick it up later today once I'm in town. I'll let u kno tho

How bad are the love bugs going south this time of year? I've barely hit any since I live in town now.

Yes those things lol, just wondering if there are any anymore since they are such a pain in the ass to wash off. I've had to wash vans that have driven to the keys and back during the season.

Don't listen to him lol I drive from st Augustine to Deltona 2 days ago and I was covered in bug juice

welll SORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYY JEEZ!!!!!!!! not like i dont work outside 10 hours a day or anything.... st augustine aint that far from here, i guess they all like it better down there.

Irish...picked the car up today and it definitely was the cv axles. I went ahead and replaced both and there is no vibration at all. I was always getting a slick shaking since i've bought the car but figured that's how gp ride. You may want consider replacing them in the future. was well worth my money.

shaking in the steering wheel, gets more noticable when u brake at higher speeds?

thats cool it fixed it, no more knocking/creaking/popping ehh? how much did it cost to replace?

actually only get a slight shaking in steering wheel now and yea more shaking when stopping a high speed but then again my brakes are needing to be replaced to...ugh. price for driver and pass. cv axle cost like $120 at advance. Labor was $130<-----dealership though so it would of been cheaper at another shop but had a $25 gift card :) and wouldn't have had the time to replace it myself during the week before sat.

Yeah, when I replaced my first set of CV's it was the same ****.

Also love bugs...terrible.
I drove about 60miles today, over to GPboi's place, and plastered the front of my car with them.

Before the show, wax the piss outa your front bumper, and leave some extra haze on them. Makes the bugs come off a lot easier.

Also, I've got a spare can of Turtle Wax CD2 for everyone at the show to pass around.

I spent about 10minutes with some simple green, and about 45seconds with the CD2, and it looks ****ing amazing.
