Yea don't spend what 10 bucks for piping to a location where your filter can actually pick up some ambient air.
that comment wasn't directed at you, just so you knowI should have made the title of this thread Underhood/Intake/Post Supercharger Temps. Yes I know how to create an intake to get more ambient air and am currently working on that.
I've got a 2010 Camaro and I actually like driving the GP more since I'm so fascinated with any forced induction, turbo or supercharged. This is my first forced induction car and I love it.
Let me change up my initial question from my first post.
Has anyone recorded POST supercharger air temps from:
1. Any type of intercooler
2. Ram air hood with heat extractors
3. Full length headers (reducing boost psi due to better flow)
4. Different pulley sizes
5. E85 or meth injection
6. Any combination of the above
Thanks

I'm curious as to the results if any.
Just one thing, that zzp rear manifold isnt really needed as much as the 3in downpipe is needed. Mostly only turbo guys feel the need to use the rear log. Factory ones do seem to treat guys well when just running a 3in downpipe, the factory already has decent flow with the runners/log style design.
here is some more information for you to consider:
scroll down to post 554 to see some actual temperature numbers of pre and post intercooler.

One night I read through that whole thread haha. Those photos are kind of dark, but I think the first is on top of the supercharger @ 83 degrees and the second is on what he said was the water neck @179 degrees?
When I first saw that I thought of "water neck" as the thermostat housing neck, but could he have meant the intercooler hot water outlet hose/neck?
dont bother with either of those options. get the speed daddy headers on ebay. if you plan on doing an intercooler, the headers will work a lot better. and they run about 225.
I just ordered the post S/C manifold air intake temp sensor from Aeroforce so hopefully it gets here this week. Give me maybe a week or so to install it and get some data, then I'll place my order for whatever exhaust parts I decide on. Tough decisions ahead.
1. (All ZZP) Front plog $140 + Rear plog $200 + 3" DP/w cat $225 = $565
2. (ZZP) Stainless Headers with DP and cat =$810
Marshall recommended the SD headers
3. SD headers =$225 (but do any downpipes bolt up to it?? and does it throws codes?)
