• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

well, i was wanting to see the exhuast system and was wanting to plan out a new exhuast. also, and this might sound dumb, but i'm wanting to remove my cat and not too sure which is the cat and which is the res.

so, in order to remove the cat? do i have to replace any sensors or anything? i think i also read somewhere to do something about the ubend? thanks alot liqiufire.

you want to get rid of the u bend(that is where the rear o2 sensor resides in a stock setup) that is the most restrictive part of the exhaust. If you are unbolting the downpipe with stock you would have to remove the 02 sensor. If you are cutting it out you wouldnt have to but I dont know why you wouldnt have the u bend deleted if you are doing any exhaust work. Have you looked into getting a whole new downpipe? You can get them in upgraded size, with or without cat including the u bend deleted for about two hundred(if with the cat) or cheaper without from zzperformance.com..... let me know if you have any more questions.
