Turns Over But wont Start



Here's what I would have diagnosed this.

1. Unplug the maf sensor and see if you can get it running. If it runs/runs better, it's a bad maf
2. Check fuel pressure/fuel pump fuse.
3. Go from there.

You had the pressure checked and it appears the fuel pressure is questionable. Anything under 20psi and you can't start the car. It's not right that you can sometimes start it. So I'd be checking stuff closely.
 


Then I'd think it's a pump. If it's starting at times, it's not a fuse. And you don't have a fuel pressure regulator on that year.
 
That 300 and some dollars is for the whole pimp and regulator. The pump it's self shouldn't be to expensive

check Rockauto.com and use a discount code you find on google. Or if you have Advance locally.. find an online discount code (there's a thread on this forum, second post has the place to get the codes as a link) Best advance code I've used was something like $50 off $250 or more.
 


ebay or amozon. you need to google, or search ebay for a part # for the your pump/car year make model, then hunt for the cheapest one.
