i'm lookin to buy a touch screen headunit mostly for the "cool look at that" factor. i've considered cutting the dash and doing a double din install but i'm not really up for it now, maybe later. so ive basically narrowed it down to these 3 styles:

fold down: Pyle PLD71MU In-Dash 7" LCD Touchscreen Car Receiver w/ USB & Aux

flip up: Power Acoustik PD-702 In-Dash 7" LCD DVD Car Receiver w/ USB/AUX

or this kinda thing: Power Acoustik PD-535 (PD535) 5.3" Touchscreen LCD Car Receiver

those are not the particular ones i'd get just the style.

ive heard bad things about the motors going in the flip up ones, but honestly if it lasts me a couple years i'll be fine with that

i've decided i'm gonna take off the dash and custom mount a double din. you can close thread lol
 


those werent my choices, just the style lol! but yeah, i'm gonna cut the dash up a bit and do a double din. it just looks so much cleaner than the other ones
 
this guy did it not bad without fiberglass. it's obviously not super as good as fiberglassing but its still decent imo
