Top Swap Info and Faqs, Also lots of 3800 Info

Most prefer the lower compression l67 block so they can run more boost. . Also the higher compression is less forgiving when it comes to tuning. . What goals are you trying to reach? . Most combinations have been done before...

and intercooled XPZ build will easily run on an L36 block. on an L67 block you might run out of pulley and timing to be had if you push it hard whereas the L36 might have slightly more headroom to grow.

zzp sells a lower intake to mate m90 with NA heads, its a meh set up at best. grabbing a L67 balencer, idlers heads and lower intake would be a better route.

Is there any more info on this? I cant seem to find anything around. Is this a part they no longer sell? I realize this thread is aged.

Seriously theres so many people selling complete top swap kits for the same price as just that manifold. Just saying.

Do the fuel lines from the l36 set up clip into the fuel rail for the l67 just fine? Or do I need some kind of adapter?

I have a 99 with the quick release style fittings. They swapped out perfect. Like Scotty said the bends will be off a little but that's not a big deal, just be fragile with them.

I'm not talking about the quick release fittings, I'm talking about the spots where the fuel rail bolts to the lower intake manifold.
Thats weird my l67 fuel rail bolted right up. It doesnt even make sense that it wouldnt bolt right up. L67 lim should work with l67 fuel rail.

I was using L67 fuel rails with an L36 lower intake manifold. Of course your L67 rails will bolt to your L67 lim.
Well either way, yes the lines will fit and since your doing a top swap your obviously going to use the correct lim so the fuel rails will also fit no problem.

Nothing needed, your stock lines will hook-up. The fitting feels kinda janky, loose, but I ran it that way for 4 years. I have -an line now, but still using the quick connect fittings. I'll eventually get rid of the quick connect fittings because when you have them on and off a lot like me, they will leak and need new o-rings.

Ok got the motor and transmission in swap out my 99 gt motor and transmission from a Bonneville l67 00-05 01 gtp transmission car runs but it feels like supercharger is not working didn't but the zzp l67 swap kit remapped the map sensor to the front and the evap sensor just the boost bypass valve isn't connected snipped the connector from the junkyard wanted to know if I gave it a ground and power would it work wasn't trying to order zzp kit but I see there's plugs into the pcm pin 77

you cant drive that on your old stock na pcm and na tranny gears. you need a tune for this swap or you'll blow it all up. tranny and the engine. way to much timing. kr city, injector data wrong, trans gears are wrong with a host of other settings.......park it asap. get a tune.
