• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Took my 04 to the dyno yesterday

Yeah, I was running Manley 130's with Ti Retainers...had O/R pushrods with stock rockers. I know the Thrasher is slightly larger lift wise than the XPZ...you got a cam card for it by chance?

I don't...here are the rumored spec's though:

217/225 .352/.333 116 N/A

I'm not convinced they are correct though.

Not sure on the Cloyes ones...

I ran an actual GM one...tossed it in there with the stock timing chain at the time of the XP install. Someone needs to machine a billet dampner, maybe that would help? I also didn't know there were "other options", unless you were just meaning different brands/producers?

That might help...but the double roller seems to work well. Except with the luck you had with yours.

I just wish I could get rid of the extra vibration that the DR creates due to the balance shaft deletion.

The car the runs 11's in my signature has stock injectors, and they are around 85% duty cycle at 6200 RPM's.

My daily driver that this thread is about, running stock injectors, is maxing them at 5100 RPM's.

Get ready for some Veteran Confusion!

You think that was a serious comment?

We all know all caps = angry but i dont think we have anything for sarcasm maybe i should change the font or something............

Stock GT injectors should be good up until 700WHP. Use those instead, I heard GTP injectors cause more rocker rust.

That made about as much sense as this argument.

I am guessing your 11 sec GTP has a good amount of weight reduction?
...Not to mention the weight dropped switching from iron manifolds to stainless steel headers. :th_jester:

It's got backwards tires.

That's how he goes so fast...TRACTION!!! (<<supposed to be yellow, sry :( )

Anywho...

Cam card from my "Thrasher" I had...

It was 224/224, 359/354...114 LSA. Tell you what though, it pulled like a bastard up top. Here are the awesome vids Abrasive and I took when the front cover was ripped off.

I know you have to make the balance shaft inoperable in order to run it...some people leave them in there and just remove the gear...I had the oil port tapped and plugged and took the whole thing out...maybe someone needs to make a different cam gear? Hmmmm? Don't know. Do the Aussie's have a different cam gear or do they have to delete the shaft as well to run a DB...I haven't really looked into it...and didn't when I was building the car...
