The other night i pulled next to a mustang looked to be a 03 body still it sounded good prob few mods he had a monster wing on it kinda gay. But anyways we were siting there the 2 kids were like looking over and laughing i was like this is a joke. Light turns green we both take off i take him by like a good car length and a half going about 50. Lane merges i win. People just don't get the power of a GTP.
 




Going out and finding V8 badges for a car that isn't a V8 is a waste of time. Particularly if you have a wing on it.

It had to have been a V8. V6 Mustangs sound like an 80 year old retarded person with the squirts
 


Theres turbo 3.8's in the 10's also a guy I once once friends with had a modified SOHC mustang with a stick and cold air intake all that jazz. The best it ran was a 15.2
 
blue, no doubt it sounds pretty darn good, no argument there, you just can't duplicate the growl of the v8...by the way, why you be hatin on the 4.6??? Had that setup in my marauder, pretty decent power being made there........dont get me wrong, I LOVE my boosted gtp, but something to be said for american v8 muscle.....;)

The 4.6 is a turd. At least before Ford started actually doing things to it like after '05. Those 'Stangs are good for 14's...proven.

... which 14's aren't bad for a stock car, that you can usually pick up real cheap..

Same goes for GTP's... high 14's low 15's in stock conditions.

So does that make the 3.8's turds, since they can only push out 14's stock?
 
no because the 3.8 is a v6, not a v8. The fact that a v6 is comparable to a certain v8 makes that v8 a turd
 
99-04 GT stangs aren't the fastest cars around but one took my GTP when stock by about 3-4 cars from 20-110. It was a 5spd with exhaust mods. Makes me miss my 04 roush with its 12lb vortech. 396rwhp, 395 rwtp. 4.6's have somewhat low compression and love boost and they are TOUGH. It sounded mean and could back it up. They are just turds from the factory.
 
4.6's are good if they are a 4 valve like the cobra or mach 1. or a highly worked two valve. and by highly worked. i mean most likely s/c
