Tire size help needed!!

I got set of rims from a friend that look ok....there 17's and the have 215/45R17 tires on them....they look small on the car which they would I guess...But if I wanted to go to a taller slightly wider tire...What size should I get?

yeah, still going to look small, but thats really all there is.

235/50 is the correct size but there only 2 brands that make that size.

17s suck on these cars.

I didnt end up buying them anyway...but for 200.00 bucks it wasnt a bad deal by any means.....
