• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Tinting Suggestions.



I was just out driving and I saw a Ford Taurus with 20% in the rear and none on the front (looked so dumb, but whatever). But 20% seems dark enough for me since I'm basically blind at night anyways lolz. And I swear I have OCD or something because I personally couldn't do two different tint percentages on my car. I need it to look even.. sounds dumb, I know. I'm weird I guess.

Nope...that's how I am...the OCD part...not the blind part LOL.

I had to do 20% all around on my Cobalt...the GP is 20% in the back and 35% in the front but I bought it that way and have yet to redo it.
 
Yeah everyone better watch out for me at night because I'm blind as a bat! lolz.

But yeah I have to stick with one tint all the way around. The guy who owns the shop that I'm going to is good friends with my Dad, so I'm gonna see if he can do 25% but if not then I'm going with 20%.
 
Yea make sure you call before you set up an appointment. I thought all tint shops had any percentage you needed.. the one I went too only had 5%, 20%, 35%, and 50%.. which really pissed me off cause I wanted 15% all around.. Just make sure ya know

Yeah I'm definitely gonna check first. But the guy just told me to come to the shop right when I get my car back (it's being fixed at the moment) so no appointment needed. I need to ask my Dad what his name is so I don't look like an idiot going in there and being like "Hey dude."
 
I have and white 97 GP and i have 20% i think its dark enough
anything darker i think would pop too much with the white paint on the car
 
I live in Michigan too and i have 15 on the backs and 40 on the fronts. I suggest getting 5s on the back and 35s of the front. Iv gotten pulled over and cops let me go cuz the front isnt to dark. 35 should be fine
 
Well any tint on the front windows is illegal. But if you don't want to get pulled over then I would do 35% on the front.
 


Im glad that the cops where I live arent bad. My tint is 5% in the back, 20% on the rear doors and 30% on the front. I honestly haven't had to many problems except when I lived in a little town by Cedar Rapids and they had nothing better to do.
 
I know I am kind of late replying to this but don't go with the prescription plan. A friends cousin did that and when he got pulled over and showed his prescription of the cop, the cop ripped it in his face. Cops arent buying that either.
 
Yeah for now lol, until you get slapped with a nice ticket.

I am getting my tints replaced since mine are becoming purplish. I get stopped, I have a valid excuse "I just bought the car :D" since the car's only been with me for about 2-3 weeks.
 


I wish I could say that, lol. I'm gonna laugh if I get pulled over the day I get the tint and I have to open my door when the officer approaches my car. I bet he'll pull his gun on me lol.

Ya i did that in my 2001 ultra across an intersection.... he used the term... i could get u for 6pts for failure to maintain control of vehicle, but im felling good tonight
