Tinting Suggestions.

I'm getting my windows tinted right when my GP gets out of the shop, but I'm not sure of what percentage I want yet. I was going for 7% but then I decided that I didn't wanna have to make it rain at every police station in the State of Michigan for having too dark of a tint. And then I was thinking 25% on all windows (except windshield of course) but I'm still not sure. Any suggestions?

What are you tint laws? If your worried about getting pulled over don't go too dark if you have a lighter colored car..it makes the tint appear darker from the contrast. I have 5% on the rear and the back windows and 15% on the front windows.

35% is legal (and extremely boring). 25% is unlikely to be found. you'll most likely have to choose between 20% and 15% for darkness, and if you're given that choice i would most definitely do 15%. it is the right amount of dark and still being able to see at night and the cops can see your silouette during the day, which is what they are looking for.

Rear windows you can do anything in Michigan so go as dark as you want. However, front two are illegal to tint other than a three inch band at the top. So I would suggest tinting the back as dark as you want and going slightly lighter in the front

White is tough because it'll look dark. If your interior is dark..that makes it stand out more. I always go after high quality film which is better protection and easier to see out of at night and when it's raining out.

Due to tint laws here, I'm at 35%, it looks pretty light in the daylight and darn dark in rain or dusk.

I'll probably just decide between 15 or 20%.

And I have light interior.

Cool, that'll help when you are pulled over. Also remember to turn on the interior light before he approaches if it's night. :th_thumbsup-wink:

I'll just go to the doctor and get a prescription saying that I need tint on my windows because I have sensitive eyes lolz. I'm usually good at getting out of a ticket though! :th_thumbsup-wink:

Happy you are... I get busted even when I dont get a ticket I get letters from the court... Wouldnt it be nice to be a girl

My girlfriend got pulled over recently. I asked...did you cry etc? Apparently some cops aren't buying the usual drill anymore.

Heck..I'd cry if it got me outta a ticket. :th_laugh-lol3:

The only thing that saved me is the cops computer was on the fritz.... Im guessing he did not like my tired spinning till 55.... I didnt know it was possible in the GP... I found out and saw nice lights

I don't cry, I just flaunt what I got and act like a total sweetheart. Works every time. :)

I'd try that and get told I have too much chest hair..lol

I say do whatever you are willing to get out of the ticket. :th_thumbsup-wink:
