Tinted my rear window

Tinted the plastic rear window on the car, came out better then I thought it was going to.. I messed up in the top right corner, but from 10 ft away you can't tell.

I couldn't stand it not matching my windows, it was driving me nuts.

if i had an s2000 i wouldnt be spray painting my windows.

Do you not see the before picture? The window wasn't visible either way, and looked like crap since this top is original.

it's just plastic. I can't imagine that looks good close up.

Exactly, it's plastic, which VHT is made to "tint"

It doesn't look AMAZING, but it defiantly looks better then the nasty fogged up crap.

i'll give you that. I just mean that the way the spray is applied may not look the best. Sorta why flip's tails always look better than vht tails. Nonetheless, an improvement

When I actually get some spare cash (who knows when) I'm going to get a brand new top with a glass rear window, instead of plastic, and then tint that the correct way.

But for now, this will do.

agreed, looks better than before.

will the window crease or crack when put back? or havent you tried yet? idk how convertibles and their tops work, lol.

thats what i was thinking too... wouldnt it completely ruin the finish of it? i would think it would crack like crazy. but like stated above, im not very knowledgable on convertibles and their tops as well haha

The window doesn't fold, it just lays back as one piece.

I'm giving it 48 hours before putting the top down.

i think it looks good. im just saying if i had a car that nice i wouldve done it professionally. unless you cant tint plastic windows? sorry probably a stupid question.
