Thoughts on these possible paint ideas

First, I need to thank Blackwood for doing these up for me.......first class all the way...even when you don't give him the best starting material.

If I only do the hood, I will be getting the Inferno spoiler and painting just the top of it in the same shade of black (not sure if I'm going to go gloss or satin yet) to tie it together.

All opinions (good and bad) are appreciated
 


i like the top one. and i like the lettering mostly the ls4 part but the rest isnt bad. either way its a cool idea. you dont see too many custom painted gp's out there
 
it is definitely a rarity to see a custom job any more, I had big plans for my GTP..but sadly none of them panned out. and now I must get rid of it. Hopefully one day I can get another GTP when i have the means to do what I want when I want lol.
 
not a bad idea, im toyin with some custom paint ideas, as im painting my whole car soon,.. but i dunno yet... i dont wanna make it too rice
 


do not put the motor size or any numbers on it. that is way gay.

otherwise it looks pretty good.
 
you have to do the inferno hood first off but i like the first one over the the other 2 but none of it is really my style but to each his own.
 


personally, i like the letters and numbers thing. im kinda a fan of the old school cubic inch lettering. but since it is a more modern car, if it were me i would get the 5.3 lettering. i like the ideas. good job on thinkin outside the box bro.
 
Take an ariel shot of your car first. Take a photo from a roof top or balcony of some sort and load the photo into your computer and manipulate various schemes through some software before you actually paint your car, this way you know exactly how its gonna look. That hood is on a 04-08 GP it may look good on that car maybe not on yours. Take your time and decide.

im pretty sure that IS his car, and he DID take some pics just that way lol...:th_scratchhead:
 
like the 1st one with the roof painted black too, dont like the letters on the hood makes me think of a dodge charger. Go with the first one.
