yeah pricey but like anything your getting what you paid for. best sounding engine out there in my book. you can get really out of control with up graded parts for them too.
 


so I got it running again the slipper clutch wasnt tight enough. also found out there is a mode on my esc for lipo batteries. might just buy lipos now because the stock ones arent cutting it getting about 10-15 min run time.

made a couple more videos of it in water unfortunately it was going dead during them

i still cant believe you backed it down the boat ramp into the water. lol buy a rc boat already.

ya know up until this thread i didnt even know RC cars were this big. and i may invest my self in one of these fun little things next month
 
Oh yea they're big...but be warned it gets expensive fast.

EDIT: I should order a motor now that I have the money for one lol
 
dirt be a man and get the 1/4 scale gas buggies :) I think they are 900-1200$ hahaha.

my boats finally comming together. got new battery holder for transmitter, receiver battery holder, 2 new 4200mah 9.6v. Think I just need to epoxy the rudder holder and just perhaps maybe in the water next weekend..... to have it break and drive away! ;)

I could do that. I honestly buy lots of parts of Amazon. I get the part numbers from Traxxas or Tower Hobbies and buy off Amazon cause Traxxas and Tower Hobbies are too expensive.

But Tower Hobbies is probably the best known RC store.
