And it is impossible for the car to be a 2001 special edition, they never made one. It's either a 2000 Daytona with a Special Edition interior, a 2001 with Special Edition stuff put on it or a 2002 Special Edition.

Got some more done, and ran into more issues, I got all new motor mounts including dog bones. And new rubber! Now after all new suspension and 2 alignments, I have about a half inch of poke on the left front wheel and the right front is sunk in about a quarter inch. Shop that did the alignment says they don't want to mess with it as it may be because of frame damage since it has a salvage title :( I can tell there is no camber on the left and there is some negative camber on the right, I ordered some camber bolts in hopes of correcting this issue myself. I also ordered 1inch hubcentiric spacers in case it is because of frame damage I can at least make the poke match all the way around. Also ordered a plog, downpipe.

Sooooo.... I got my plog in today, my current mod list is, 4in intake (hot air), plog, u bend delete, dhp pcm, Autolite 605's and Taylor thundervolt 8mm wires. Now I was hoping for no kr, but I still get 3.3* of kr at the top of second gear :( my fuel trims are back to normal once I deleted the evap so no more Rich...

that sucks about the alignment. hopefully the frame damage isn't too bad. any idea when the car will be painted to match?

oem plug wires have always worked best for me. it might be worth trying an oem set for 30 dollars.
 


My tentative plan is to get the car in for paint in December. I took the camber out of the right front and it made the "poke" even but the car drove like crap, so now it's going back in for yet another alignment somewhere else to hopefully get it right, i have the spacers on currently and I notice a bit of toe in on the back so we will have to figure that out to.

Dumb question but what color are stock injectors? I'm trying to figure out why I see 4* of knock so I was swapping out the dhp pcm for a stock and noticed the injectors are light green and replacements I find online are black.... The big issue I'm having with this car is that it is a demod car and I have no clue what might be done to the car or what was done and removed...

Stock injectors from the factory are like a white/tan color. The replacements I've seen are all black, like you said.
