• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

The LS1 was built by the hand of God,.....

yes on all those points and my point is simply Ford did a hell of a job getting GM guys after 02 and Ford sold tons of Machs Cobras, Gt500s ect. I like the SN-95s white 98 Cobra with Hellion Turbo kit and call it a day. It all comes down to for pretty much any platform is how deep are your pockets. Now Ford does have the massive aftermarket advantage here.

The only point I can agree with by Iraq is Ford has done a stellar job of capitalizing on GMs stupidity.

'88 GM drops the G Body
'96 GM drops the B Body
'02 GM drops the F body.

Go, team. Effin' idiots.

Well, then care to explain how handing the entire law mnforcement market to Ford was a clever decision? Even as dated as a 9C1 Caprice is today, 14 years later it's still a superior platform to the lumbering pig of a Crown Victoria.

I've had 2 Caprices, they should of kept making them. I heard a G8 based Caprice may be coming. That could make for a great cop car.

id drive the TT taurus. sorry but DOD is lame id rather have a boosted 6 cylinder. as long as you stay out of boost you can get just as good mpg as a DOD v8 and then while in boost youd prolly have much more get go.

v8 sound = win.

it will come down to cost 100%

who wants to bet the caprice will have both lower initial purchase costs and maintenance costs?

i dont see how a twin turbo is going to last for police duty. a diesel yes but not a internal combustion. here in nyc police cars idle all day and get beat to piss. i dont see a turbo engine holding up. maybe ford knows better than i do?

Fords on track to making what could be the best turbo'd Gasoline engine in quite some time. If I were to buy any Gas powered truck on the market, it'd be the ecoboost without a doubt.

Geez guys, it's simple.

1. M+T=HP (Money + Time = Horsepower). The rest is all personal preference.

2. Unless you happen to own the world's fastest top fuel dragster, theres always somebody faster.

I've driven a '69.5 Camaro, '96 Camaro and briefly a '99 Mustang. RWD american V8s are just the most fun cars to drive, but again that's my personal preference.
