Yeah, those damn blue cars will get you every time. Still can't believe that O2 sensor won't come out. What a pain in the balls!

I have to meet up with a guy about an amp this morning before I head to PA...since I know Sleeper will check this out, sorry man, but I couldn't pass up the deal and I'll get you those parts. :)
 


Ok...worst update EVER. Got here around 5PM...started tearing into the car around 5:30PM. Pulled off the SC and IC...pulled the valve covers and something seemed weird. Pulled the LIM and sure as sh!t...something was wrong...very wrong.

Something severely wrong happened. I have no idea what. When the engine was assembled, I rotated it freely on the ground. Cam is set up fine. My only thought is between the Harland Sharp rockers and the stock lifters. I can't verify either of these though.

I ended up pulling the heads:

I have 10 bent valves total, although I believe every one of them kissed the pistons. No excessive damage to the pistons...they just have eyebrows now. Cylinders look okay and no damage to the cam.

So, again, I'm rebuilding. I'll probably just stuff some valves in the heads, install new pushrods, and call it good. L36 valves should work fine. It just sucks...now I need to buy a head gasket set and some new bolts. Freaking crap.

***Also, DO NOT ask to buy the 5 speed swap. I WILL NOT sell it. I will light the entire car on fire before I sell anything from the build.***
