• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Busting your chops..thought you were going to take more pictures?

Don't look for the pics from my night build..cause I didn't take any, lol. Erich's motor is together and ready to drop in. Next up ..pulling his car into the bay.

your gonna post the dyno results after you get this done right? you WHP should increase greatly

I can already tell you what the dyno numbers are: enough. LOL This car is being built strictly for fun. I really don't care what the HP and TQ numbers are. When it's tuned, it'll probably be dyno'ed, but my goal is not high numbers; just a bunch of fun.

Pics were the least of my worries when the flywheel concern occurred. My helper (my little brother) also isn't hanging around as much as I thought he would to take the pics.

Day 5 update...today was a lot of problem solving which slowed me down quite a bit.

The first things I did was take care of the shifter install. I built the bracket the same way Kuntzie did in his build so didn't take many pics of this, but here is the shifter installed.

The shift cables were a bit troublesome. I couldn't get the exact hole saw I needed so I used what I had and expanded until the shift cables fit through.

The interior:

And the exterior:

The next part I tackled was the clutch master cylinder. I fabbed a plate to fit behind the oval where the wiring harness originally came through. I then cut a 1 7/16" square into the plate for the clutch master cylinder to sit in. I modded the cage from the brake booster to the steering column to allow clearance for the new modified clutch master cylinder rod. My dad helped with the extending of the clutch master cylinder rod by adding a 1 3/4" piece in the middle. Here is the result...it doesn't look pretty but it doesn't need to.

And here is the clutch pedal all in and set to proper height.

Tomorrow, the interior may start going back together with the exception of the lower D/S dash because access will be needed for wiring the clutch safety switch and the clutch cruise deactivation switch. I also still need to order my SC bolts...I should probably get on that...

Little more expensive then i thought it would be but when tax time rolls around i know what i'm buying :D
