The Hobo G35, now with retrofits

Re: The silver surfer

Updates!

OK painted more engine parts, sexy engine bay now. Also was blessed by the Pontiac gods with two new engine codes. Nice lol.

First up its the po171 code. I believe that is the lean code. So right now I'm hunting down vacuum leaks. Any ideas?

Next is the po306 cylinder six code.

Little background, these codes popped up after reinstalling my Supercharger after painting it.

At first the car was missing horribly so I peeked around and pushed the injector above cylinder down more and the misfiring stopped.

After that It drove fine. Still drives fine. The code pops up every so often. I think when I go wot the code appears.

Ok just scanned N got history misfires on cylinder 2 4 and 6.

Cylinder two has like 12 misfires
Cylinder four has like 144 misfires
And cylinder 6 has a whopping 1635 misfires.

Any idea As to what is going on?

Also I moved my wires from on top of the charger for a cleaner look and reinstalled them at the coils. Maybe I didn't install them the right way?

Any help is appreciated!

Re: The silver surfer

Did you replaced your spark plugs and hook every plug to the right cylinder? Torque everything down the right way for your superrcharger bolts and Coils? I'd bank if you didn't replace your plugs (tune up) that's ur problem or might be bad plugs same thing happened when I changed my plugs

Re: The silver surfer

Yea but it's weird because I just did a tune up and it was fine until the Supercharger pull

Engine bay finished. Just have to paint the strut tower bar and replace the accordion piping for the filter with the aluminum one I just bought

No more ugly intake piping lol.

Now that the engine bay is complete I can start the other things like brakes rotors and a trans fluid change. Then the racekar mode begins :)

Re: The silver surfer

If everything was painted the same color there wouldn't be any contrast. I would paint the valve covers black to match the Dogbones.

Re: The silver surfer

Red is right on, I'll be painting those black tomorrow
