• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Taz's Offical Summer/Fall build list.

still doing the ssm90 setup? i believe i have an extra balancer laying around somewhere. the spot for the standoff is easy to find too, and the other pulley hangs off the coil pack bracket.

not sure I keep going back and forth, I'm trying to foucusing on getting all the big parts ready first and then figure out the other stuff

I got the tb done and smoothed up the supercharger inlet alittle bit I'm not really sure what all to do to the inlet.

On the outlet I got all the cutting done unless you guys think I should open the triangle up some more. I still need to sand/clean up the corners and where the numbers used to be alittle bit I'm not 100% sure how to go about doing that but I'll find away.

I've pretty much completly given up on the idea of polishing everything on the outside, I still want to make it look nice so I'm either going to do a good job painting it myself or get it powder coated.

I'm thinking of just doing everything ontop (s/c,tb) a similar grey to what the snout is from the factory, then the LIM and outside of the heads in red and maybe the fueal rails in red too even tho they are polished...

paint the blower red, it'll match what you've done under the hood. primer and a cheap rattle can job made mine look alright. and silver fuel rails

Tazmania...

You do know that I should have all the parts you need (idler/hb) sitting on the shelf or about to go into the trash pile, right?

The list looks good, except. I'd suggest against buying Garleak gaskets. A couple rolls of gasket paper and making your own is much less expensive and works better in the long run. Add a tube of Permatex 26B gasket goop and you'll have the seal of champions.

I'd consider adding JB Weld where the manifold gets thin

If you follow what I suggested, you should seal.

I've done 5-10 of them that way and buddies have followed the same. To date, not one leaked. And each one took a prybar to remove.

Today among many other things I completly finished the throttle body, its done and wraped up for safe keeping until the time comes. Heres some pictures.

I know I still got along way to go but it feels nice to finally be putting something back together.

so I'm bumming because while inspecting everything before putting the supercharger back together I looked at the rotor pack again and I'm going to have to replace it in the near future. Its absolutly wasted I would bet money that after a month of being on my car both rotors will be completly bare...

So buy one cheap. Intrigue98 has one sitting at my place waiting to get sold. Contact him via pm for details.

Where's your TB screen?

man this is just adding up and up lol for $1200 the ssm90 kit is a steal if you ask me because every time I feel like I only got a few more things left to get It ends up being like $800 lol

at this point I still need
Injectors
coil bracket
balancer
misc bolts
Intercooler bolts
valve springs
valve retainers
valve seals
"Possibly new valves?"
Headers
Heat exchanger
spark plugs
oil and filter
supercharger oil
belt
3.4 pulley
head gaskets
supercharger/Intercooler gasket
throttle body gasket

and the probablly another $200 to do braided fuel lines and briaded or sleeved lines for the intercooler and engine radiator

Oh plus what ever I spend to have paul tune it...

If I don't pick up some hours Idk if I can get this done by kcgp11

Let me know..You know what I got
Pmed

So today I got more stuff back together. Yay!

I have to redo the snout even tho I knew better I thought if I just put a light coat on it I could get away without stripping it to bare metal... yeah it turned out awful but after that I can finally work on the heads and then thats it rebuild wise which makes me super excited but it also sucks because I'll be sitting around waiting for enough money to buy alll the other stuff lol

paint looks good.. is the TB painted too? looks light, but its probably lighting.

I think it might be the other way around. The primer I used is a dark grey and I know I sprayed the blower lighter than I did the tb so I think thats why theres a shade difference I saw it when I put it together but I figured once theres a bunch of hoses and a filter around it will hardly be noticable
