Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Swiggles is going turbo!!!

made good progress today! still a ton more to do though. have to order a fitting for the fuel rail from prj so the hose will fit over the intake. still need to connect everything under the car too. the motor is in and mostly put together, plogs are on, injectors and fuel rail is on, accessory belt is on. plugged in most of the electrical. heres some pics.

oh ya i cant find where jason put my gear select arm so the turbo cant go on until i find it....

Looks great already.

Between the dogbones, UIM, VC, and AN lines, perfect amount of shiny metal.

Perhaps just a polished inducer housing? Or are you going use a blanket?

Either way, looks great, looking forward to some more shots along the way.

Might be a tad too late for this suggestion, however I know you wanted jason to polish your UIM, perhaps cleaning then clear coat just to prevent further corrosion?

I'll be using a blanket but that goes on the exhaust side which is the rusty part. I actually might buy a polished heat shield for it soon too. The intake housing is in fact polished though. The uim will end up being painted black, it's not as done as it looks in the pic. Or I might buy the polished on from max I dunno yet.

thanks matt! i hope so this time, i just want it to be reliable this time around. when the power is available to me i usually drive pretty tame so i shouldnt break much anymore but we'll see lol.

Yay i found the gear selector arm, i was hiding under my starter. and i added the little breather to the pcv nipple while i was out there.

Small update today although it feels like i did a ton of work today. Got the crossover, upper downpipe and turbo installed. made and installed my oil return line, used -10an fittings and goodridge -10an hose from treadstone. Resized my braided fuel return line. Still have to hook everything up underneath the car, pass side trans bracket, flywheel to converter bolts, replace the exhaust with the 3" pieces, make up and install the an lines for the vac block, install the IC, install new gauges, etc.

I did finally sell my gen v IC so i ordered the aem volts gauge and a starter kit for the porter cable buffer i bought last week.

Shiny parts are the best. Well for the 5 min they stay shiny that is lol

Eh, I'd venture to guess swiggles would take better care of his engine than most.

Even my car is still clean under the hood being assembled for a little over a month I believe. In the past, it'll stay clean for approximately six months before it needs a little freshening up.

The key is to clean it but to never feel like its really clean.

The pics can be deceiving, taken at the right angle and anything can look clean and shiny. My car does have scratches that you can see from 3 ft away but the wax makes it look beautiful from 5ft away. I do get OCD about some things but I've seen alot worse.

Lol thanks Tyler.

Got my catch can installed today, came with a handy bracket that attaches perfectly to the motor mount. Gunna try and sneak out to do some more while girlfriend takes a nap.
