Probably want to check your post its not showing up and just FYI your probably going to have clearance issues with shorter dogbones running headers.

Anti-pogos?....why aren't you just reusing the old boots?
Amazon had the FE3's for like 83&85, just sayin. PIC works

I'm putting ssc springs on it.. I didn't to piss with the old struts.. Possible give them to my brother since I know his are in much worse condition

Sent using my Galaxy SIII on Tapatalk 2

$85 for FE3 struts? I'd grab those and get a set of GXP springs from Canuck. That's a 2.5" drop front. 2" rear.

thats a huge drop not sure if i want to go that low.... SSC says 1.7" drop. and i figured if the FE3 part number sat any lower then what i have no then thats a plus but yeah gxp springs would work no problem huh?

I was told the 06+ monte carlos were for FE3 suspension and could possibly be lower... figured they were the better choice to go with.

506-623 are 85 a piece. not sure if they are front or rear but thats more then 70ea.. EDIT: these are rear I assume and are for FE3 and are oem.. they may be 85 but they have free shipping so i get what your saying there

the control arms are for a 04 gtp.

and like i said i dont want to go rent a spring compressor and fight to get those struts apart not worth my time or effect for $45 to replace and new boots will keep me from having to do that.

canuck no longer has gxp springs available anyways

I don't want to be difficult here but you are going to have to compress the new springs,so you'll have a compressor right there. The old ones should just blast off with an impact, Done, easy.

Exactly what I was about to type. So your still gonna need a valve spring compressor it's around $20-25 at autozone and you get your money back when you return it. It will take you 45 mins to pull off the old struts and hardware that alone is worth you reusing your old hardware and saving money.

thanks for the save...didn't even think about the install process.. i know id get the money back for renting and ill just reuse the boots as well save a few bucks

Might as well honestly I doubt your boots would need to be replacing. Save some money and put it in your gas tank lol
