Supercharger not loud.

I installed an intake earlier today to try and make to supercharger louder. But the engine is louder and the supercharger is barely louder. Not sure if there's something wrong. Can barely hear the sc
 


i put a homemade cold air on my car and it was night and day difference so as far as something being wrong idk but it should have made it louder

There has to be a load on the engine to get boost, ie whine. The only way you will get that sitting still is if you, hold the brake, put the car in gear and smash the gas while still keeping the brake held.
 
It's louder when I'm moving and get on it. But even when I'm getting on it, it's not as loud. When I first bought it 2 years ago it was loud but after I replaced to upper and lower intake mani gaskets it hasn't been as loud since.

you can get it to whine in neutral easy. give it a little tap, then a larger tap on the throttle. bwap, bwap!
