Supercharger Gasket

2007 GT with 92,000 miles;

My car has been burning coolant the past 2 months;
It's not getting into the oil. I have normal temps, full power, strong heat.

It was slow at first, then it got much worse. My check engine light came on with Low coolant. My sensor is under the t-stat housing.

It was using one brand new factory dealership coolant bottle per tank of gas in late December.
I added some bar's leak in the bottle with little rubber pellets, about 2 weeks ago, and that worked, I have not added coolant for 2 weeks.

I flushed the cooling system yesterday, I spent hours doing it.
I decided to go with green stuff.

I think this is my upper intake gasket, the supercharger gasket also called the Victor Reinz/Intake Plenum Gasket
For your 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8L SFI SC 6cyl Price: $37.99. I had to order this gasket, it will be in Tuesday.

The reason I think this is the problem...

My supercharger was replaced under warranty December 2010.
I can confirm they DID NOT replace any gaskets.

I am just not sure about this metal fuel line running over the top.

Do I need to pickup some O-rings?

I was going to get some Coolant elbows too, since the alternator has to come off, and I read those fail often.

I do not want to change out the Lower Intake aka LIM, unless you guys tell me I really need to.

Anything else that may help me would be appreciated.

It's more than likely you LIM gasket. Yes you will need fuel injector o rings. If doing the LIM gasket then you will need the coolant o rigs as well as a coolant elbow.

Your lim gasket should be fine because gm put the revised ones in starting in 05 but it its possible. Get a coolant pressure tester and see if you can see where its leaking at

We had a 06 base model come into today for a tire issue at work, and right after I shut it off a strong coolant smell came from the front, and sure enough the LIM was leaking. The car only had 99k on it.

its hard to say what cars got the upgraded gaskets.

Im curious to know what you have figured out or have you fixed your issue yet? I have a 06 GT with the same problems.
I even pressure tested the cooling system to find no leaks.
I pulled the plugs and cylinder # 6 looked kinda iffy, "black soot" on base of the plug.
